Q: Can I pick out my own cabinet, carpet colors and other finish selections?

A: Yes. We provide you with a standardized but varied selection of standard and upgrade options to select from. We also give generous building allowances so you can customize your finish selections – such as selecting your lighting fixtures.

Q: Do you perform soil testing?

A: Yes. Local and state building codes require soil tests be performed for every lot.

Q: Does Brandon Woods have a Home Owner’s Association?

A: No.

Q: Will Legacy consider building a custom designed house at Brandon Woods?

A: Yes. While it is more cost effective to the customer to use one of our architect certified floor plans, we will review and price a custom designed home for our customers.

Q: Can I add a patio?

A: Yes. Your patio or deck can be added during or after the construction of your home.

Q: Can I install a fence or swimming pool?

A: Brandon Woods is a deed restricted community and there are some aesthetic limitations that will be required with ownership, therefore no above ground pools will be permitted. Certain styles of fences will be restricted

Q: Does Legacy include any additional reinforcement to the foundations of your homes?

A: Yes. All Legacy homes are built in accordance with state and local building codes. Homes built in Amherst must satisfy one of the strictest building codes in the country. Actually, on average our Brandon Woods homes exceed standard testing requirements by approximately 15%.

Q: Are lots included in the base price of the home?

A: Yes.

Q: Is landscaping (bushes, trees, flower beds, etc.) included in the base price of the home?

A: No. Landscape packages can be purchased through Legacy or you may choose to take care of landscaping at a later time after construction of your home is complete.

Q: Is this community in a flood zone?

A: No. Brandon Woods is not in a designated flood zone.
